OmniKit is a privacy-first utility toolbox. Your data stays on your device by default. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across apps. Data leaves your device only when you explicitly use a feature that requires it (AI tools, cloud backup, or sharing), plus the limited anonymous diagnostics described below.
Notes, snippets, passwords, vault items, saved connections, history, and settings are stored locally on your device (and, where relevant, in your device's secure storage). This data is not transmitted to us.
To enforce free daily AI usage limits, deliver update notices, and improve stability, the app sends a small amount of non-personal data to our backend: a random device identifier generated on first launch (not linked to your identity or used for ads), basic device info (model, OS and app version), AI token usage counts, and crash/error reports (message and technical stack, without the content you enter). No name, email, account, or location is collected.
When you use an AI feature, the content you submit is sent to an AI provider to generate a response. If you use the app's built-in AI, the request passes through our secure backend (which holds the provider keys) and is then forwarded to the AI provider; if you use your own API key, the request goes directly to your chosen provider and is billed to your account. These requests are processed under the relevant provider's privacy policy. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing. We do not use your AI content for advertising and do not sell it.
If you enable Google Drive backup, the app uploads a copy of your app data to your own private Google Drive app folder. Only you can access it. We never receive a copy. You can delete the backup at any time from your Google account.
OmniKit requests permissions only when a feature needs them, for example: Camera (QR scanning, document/receipt capture), Microphone (voice notes, speech input), NFC (tag read/write), Photos/Files (image tools, file manager, import/export), and Network (AI, backup, network tools). OmniKit does not use location. Permissions are used solely for the feature you invoke and are not used for tracking.
Features such as file transfer, network storage and IP camera connect directly between your device and the servers or devices you choose, over your local network or the addresses you enter. We do not proxy or store that traffic.
OmniKit has no user accounts. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device. To remove the anonymous diagnostics record tied to your device identifier, contact us at the address below and include a request to delete your device data.
OmniKit is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
